This day in history 1945-- Nazi propagandist William Joyce, known as Lord Haw-Haw, was sentenced to death by a British court. William Joyce and his wife Margaret broadcast propaganda for German radio stations during WWII. William was hung for treason while his wife was not prosecuted.
