With our troops facing another Christmas separated from their families and in a hostile land; I think it is time to look at other wars and other instances of our men celebrating Christmas. If you go here you will see some photos of WWII Christmases overseas. Here are some more links about Christmas for our troops in WWII: http://www.ww2gyrene.org/xmas_page.htm Also, go to this next link to read about the movie Silent Night. This movie is based on a true event during WWII when a few German and American soldiers were able to put aside their differences and celebrate the holiday with a German woman and her child in a small hunting cabin. I just saw this movie and it is EXCELLENT!
