Alannah, if you go to http://urbanext.illinois.edu/gpe/case5/activities.html there are instructions on growing one. Pretty easy to get started, just put it in a jar of water and tooth picks in the side to keep it off the bottom. Then keep the bottom half in water. I'm not sure what to do with it when it gets more developed--maybe put it in the garden. Hope you're having a great week. :)
I have always wanted to grow some potatos like this... but I don't know exactly how to do it...

ReplyDeleteWow it sure does have lots of roots. I have no idea about seeing leaves time lol Good luck with it hopefully it will sprout something soon.
ReplyDeleteI've done this several times when the boys were little. It shouldn't take look after the roots get established before you see some sprouts up top....
