With the weather heating up for the foreseeable future, many crocheters are turning to smaller projects. Here is a cute doily pattern. It is a bit different with pretty red apples worked into the design. The page's background makes it a bit hard to read but it is worth your while to copy and paste this pattern onto a blank document and there you have a crisp, clean copy of a sweet doily pattern.

I came home with a good sized bag of it and it's in the car waiting for an opportune time to bring it in the house. I've been looking for a pattern for a shawl or stole that would look dressy but would be easy to make. The On the Town Shawl is the one I'm going to check out. I think it would be great wrap to toss over the shoulders for a girl going to the prom, a bride or maybe someone who just needs a shawl for casual wear. I know, I'm early thinking about making a shawl for a prom goer but it takes me a while to decide on a project and there is a small chance I might change my mind and work on something else--ya never know...
