Scammers Are Calling AGAIN! BEWARE of "Credit Card Services"

Some of you who have been reading my blog for a while may remember that I am having a war with a scamming company called Credit Card Services. They call you and promise to lower your credit card interest rates. OK, the first problem is, it is NEVER a good idea to give out credit card information over the phone unless you initiate the call to a business that you KNOW is reputable. The second problem is the number that shows up on the caller id LOOKS BOGUS-- (637) 000-2238. The 3rd problem is I have asked them many, many times to STOP CALLING ME, but they don't. For more information google their name or the telephone number I've given you and  see all the complaints about them. Once again, I registered a complaint with the Do Not Call folks. Today I told these idiots that they were predatory scammers and that I reported them before and was going to do it again. I told them that I was telling them AGAIN to take me off their call list. Their call came in shortly before 1 this afternoon and by 1, I was filling out the form to report them.

  2. This is so weird that you are posting this today! I had the phone call last night from this bunch! This was about the 15th call I have had and last night was the 15th time they got cursed out. I have had enough with them. I don't have any credit cards, have only had one in my entire life and cut it up after it was paid off! Last night the caller ID showed PRIVATE, no number showed up at all. Something really needs to be done about them!!

  3. Clara is right, they are jokers. We're smart enough to know what they're up to but some people aren't! They used to call several times a week but they've cut back to a few calls every few months. Every time I tell them to take my name off their list and stop calling and then I go to the do not call list and report them. Most of the time I put something in here so maybe someone will see it and know that they're scammers. Tracie, I don't know how they'll be caught because I've read somewhere that their phone numbers aren't legitimate that somehow the numbers aren't legitimate and these guys somehow make it look like they're real numbers. I'm not familiar with electronics and that sort of thing so I'm not sure how that works.

I tell anybody who calls here selling anything I am on the do not call registry, and hang up. I don't even give them a chance to talk and run their scam.Sign up for the do not call registry.

Stop back again, on Monday...I have a MEME it is about the simple joys and abundance. It is still open for this week if you want to peek at it...

  5. I've been on the do not call list since it started. These people are identity thieves from what I've read about them and they call and call again but they change their telephone numbers often. Used to call several times a week, this last time it went a few months. I heard you have to tell them to take your number off their list before anything can be done and I do that each time. I know they're scammers but some people don't and I feel for anyone who gets burned--it must be a good business or they'd have given up by now. I'll definitely stop by your place on Monday. Thank YOU Faith for stopping in here.:)

  9. The telephone number they used for the last call was a "local" call so I called the telephone company. The number used is a no longer in service number for a mortgage company. This number is 270-352-5122.
