Ripple Blankie for Baby/Toddler.. a WIP
Still working on the ripple for a little toddler. I'm slow, what can I say lol! The pattern I'm using is a compilation of 2 with the color design my own based on what was in my stash. The claret yarn is a mills end from Caron. The thickness of the yarn varies quite a bit from skein to skein. Oh well, it's still nice, I guess... Hope you enjoy.

I think it's lovely, Sharon. Ripples are still a favorite of mine to work on. They're simple, but there's so much you can do with color combinations.
ReplyDeleteThanks for playing along on WIP Wednesday!
Thanks Marie Anne. I like them too. I think the design is "classic" and always "in style." I like your Wednesday idea to show off wips.
ReplyDeleteI think it is very nice indeed sharon, and I can imagine it would be slow going anyways with you changing the colors like that...I love it!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Lynn! Sometimes I think I spend more time looking at free patterns online and reading blogs than actually crocheting. So many things I'd like to do but so little time...
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean, I have all these ideas of afghans I would like to do for the girls for Christmas this year and then I am looking at free patterns and ooohhing and ahhing lol...like you said there is just not enough time
