Most of us enjoy a cold serving of ice cream in the summer time. Here's a link to a recipe to make a serving of ice cream in a bag. Sounds like a fun project for the kids.
Ice cream in a bag. Sounds fun. I guess it's a bit tricky to get the ingredients here, but otherwise I would try it. Have fun in the second half of the challenge!
Making ice cream like that does sound like a fun little project. We had an old ice cream maker when I was growing up. It was the kind that needs rock salt and a lot of ice. Ironically, we pretty much only made ice cream in the winter, when we could use snow and icicles in place of ice to pack it with.
I'm allergic to dairy, but we make lovely ice cream by mashing a banana and mixing it with cocoa powder, then freezing.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds super easy! I'm definitely going to try this in the coming weekend.

I remember my father making homemade ice cream when I was a kid. Always on a Saturday, it was a wonderful time.

I remember my kids did something similar with making ice cream like this during a summer camp one time many a summer ago. They did enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteYum on the ice cream!
Hope you continue on with the challenge :)
