Anyone Want a Corvette for Christmas?
DH is finally willing to sell his Corvette. It is kept in the garage AND under a car cover. He just put over $1000 in it doing a fancy-smancy tune-up. Why??? I don't know because he only takes it out and drives it around the neighborhood every now and then. I think he'd keep it in a giant sized curio cabinet if there was such a thing. Anyway, it's a 1986, and the first $6500 takes it. Now don't you just want to put it in your driveway or garage? It's a "man-toy" needing a new man to adopt it and take home before the holidays.

Nice ride! Alas, I'm not in the market for one (nor could I afford it if I was).
ReplyDeleteIt amazes and saddens me that so few corvette owners seldom actually DRIVE their "babies." What's the point of having a fabulous toy if you never play with it?
ReplyDeleteIt's really a sharp looking car but I'm a subcompact economy car kind of gal. dh had dreamed of having one since he was a teenager and I think the reality of having one is quite a bit different than the dream was. We don't need pay for full-coverage insurance for a car we don't drive. I'd like to get the garage back so my car can go in it this winter. Guess this car for my husband is like my great grandma's china is for me. I will use it this Christmas though, I promise! Stay warm e1!
ReplyDeleteWow what a nice car, hopefully someone will fall in love with it and he can make the sale.
