Vintage Crochet Pattern Using Crepe Paper!

I've heard of crocheting with bread and other plastic bags, rags and t-shirts but this is the first I've heard of crocheting with crepe paper! This hat is very beautiful but I don't think it has a long life maybe I'm wrong though (hope). Let me know if you make one or have heard about crocheting with this medium.
