What's in the Box?

My door bell rang, the furbabies started barking something fierce. I go to the door and I'm greeted by this huge box.

I bring it in, open it up and much to my delight I see this:

It's some "raw" afghans! I'll be putting these afghans together for my good friend. Deadline is before Christmas so I do believe I'll make it.

That's all for now, I just wanted to let you see the ginormous pile of yarn that found its way to my house.

Hugs...

  1. For one blanket? What pattern are you using? Can't wait to see it.

    1. It's for 2 afghans. This is the pattern I'll be using--

It does look like a lot of yarn. My friend and I did the calculating of the number of skeins needed but maybe we made a miscalculation. Guess I'll see when I'm finished with them.

    1. Thank you Katie. I'm going to start one of the afghans this weekend whether I finish my current project or not.

  3. I hope you have a bunch left over when you finish the afghans, and then you get to keep the rest for yourself, hee hee. Too much fun. Those colors are beautiful.

    1. Yep, my friend told me I could keep any extra. This weekend I'm going to start work on one of the afghans even if I haven't finished the baby blanket I've been working on.
