Crocheting--Not Much Going On

I finally wove the ends in on the small afghan I made.

I think the one yarn I used is what is causing the rippling. The purple is a cheap polyester yarn I got a bargain on and I think it's the rippler.

I've been doing a little on my scrap 'ghan. It will be a while before it's finished. It is a nice brainless project.

p.s. I did a count on the tomato sauce  I canned: 8 qts, 12 pts, and 20-- 1/2 pts.

  1. I like the rippling effect Sharon - looks pretty.

I think you're about set with the tomato sauce for a little while. :)

  3. Thanks! I think the scrap is a bit gaudy but it does have it's own appeal. We'll be eating some good spaghetti this winter made out of my tomato sauce:)

  5. I get frustrated when my afghans come out wavy edged. However, I think it looks nice on this ghan. Goes with the different colors nicely.

  6. oh wow I love both of the ghans girl. I started a ripple but I gave up on it, I only did single rows and after doing a few I think it would be better with two rows of the same color at a time so maybe someday LOL I sure hope you and your family have a good weekend and way to go with the tomatoes yummy!!

  7. Lynn, the ripple afghan is based on the pattern at Attic 24 and it is pretty easy. I've been adding to it as I find the stray leftover balls of yarn. Small batch of tomato sauce cooking down as I type this. Hope y'all are having a nice weekend.
