I love my patio and my front porch. Frequently we have our coffee out there. When I lived up north, not too many people used their front porches except as means of egress. Now that we live a little further south in Kentucky, it is common to see folks sitting on their front porches visiting or just kickin' back. I was thinking about how it's been months since I had my coffee outside and missing it. Anyone want a cup???
Girl I wish I lived close to you because I sure would have a cup of coffee with ya, I love sitting outside on the porch, especially when it is nice out, I love your long porch, have a good day!!
ReplyDeleteThe pot is on--come on by. I'm actually brewing a new pot now; this time of the day I have some decaf hazelnut on but there's some regular I can put on for you if you prefer. We have 2 pots on the counter so it's no problem lol! Did I see somewhere that you're in NC? My 4 or 5x greatgrandparents were from there. A few years back I was really into genealogy and traced the family back there.
ReplyDeleteOh wow that is cool about your great grandparents being from NC, do you remember what part? And, yes I am in NC, I live in Goldsboro. I prefer decaf myself, I try to stay away from too much caffiene :o) You have a great day!!
ReplyDeleteNow this is several great grandparents ago. I have a Jacob Deck, born in North Carolina in 1762. I don't have a town/city or other location. I have seen some mention on the Internet of there being a Deck family plantation but I haven't located it.
