On this day in history 1918 Sgt. Alvin C. York almost single-handedly killed 25 German soldiers and captured 132 in the Argonne Forest in France during WWI. Sgt. York became one of the most highly decorated members of the US military. Go to his foundation's web site to read more about him http://www.sgtyork.org/index.html. It's time to start crocheting slippers and maybe some hats and scarves for this years Christmas presents. Hugs!
